Studio in January

I drew an old man. This time it was all studio easel drawing, and I was reminded why I work on more table-top and sketch book projects in the winter.... It's uncomfortably cold in the dead of night in my attic studio. Gloves are hard to work in, but not working is hard to cope with, so it's cold fingers yet finished drawings.

Studio Multiples

I've been building multiples. Here are a few of the repetitive objects that I've been stuck on. The paper boats I've taken particular joy in making. I've made a whole host of them, most have been dipped in wax, some have messages written on the surface before they are folded, and others are joined together in various patterns or in attempts at effective structures.
